a strong black coffee did wha?

Teehee. One whole day down without swearing. Thirty-nine more to go. Yeah, I can almost see this going down smoothly. Right. Sure.

I have reaffirmed my love for many things this week. Some of them are quite cheesy, though none involve cheese.[to my knowledge. if you can find some way to fit cheese into any item i list, let me know and i will buy you a soapbox derby car.]

1.) Clay Aiken. Yeah he's a class A grade plus nerd, but he's got more money than you can shake a stick at.[oh and just so you don't try it, you cannot say that he eats cheese because that example is lame. lame i tell you. of course he eats cheese. he's human. he needs dairy.]

2.) Celebrity Jusice. They started showing it again after school instead of The Jane Pauley show. I know its cliche and cheap[like Paris Hilton] but it's better than The Jane Pauley show.

3.) Reginald. He lent me his freshman English book so I could cheat and copy the poetry vocab for the College Prep poetry quiz on Friday. I also thank him for knuckling me in band for being an honest Ahna.[knuckling my friends is when someone touches knuckles with you, not hits you in the face.]

4.) A softer world. I found this website long ago and checked out some of the cartoons before logging off and forgetting them. So yesterday I decide to return after finding them in my neglected and overrun favourites bar. Bawbam! I instantly printed out many of them and now have them all over my binder, soon I will be putting them on my walls.

5.) ee cummings. I chose him for my poet sketch and analysis. He's the most underrated poet out there. I think I will analyze "She being Brand" and I will read aloud "I carry your heart" Those have to be my favourite poems of all time. That and "Somewhere I have Travelled Gladly Beyond".

So that's what I have been obsessed with. Now I have to go and translate the history of Mexico during the Porfirian period and the Guerra Civil. Wish me luck space cadets. I'll need it fo sho.

In other news:Most of my friends gave up sweets for Lent and so my friend Jessie and I ate cookies right in front of them. Don't we suck or what? *evil snickers*

Quote of the day:"That's what you get for telling the truth. More band music!"-[Me]

French phrase de jour:Un café noir bien tassé.(eh(n) kah=feh mwahr byeh(n) tah-seh)A strong black coffee.
