i'll have to check my schedule...

Wowzers.

I got quite a few notes back from concerned fans. How wonderful to see you sitting in the audience. Don't worry, this week is a double feature. I'm updating twice.

Lately, I've become the committment-aholic. Oh you know the type. There's probably one in your office, school, or other place where committees are offered. They sign up for every board and also run for president. They join every club and attend every event. No matter what the cause, or the cost, they join. Simply because it looks might impressive to the big guys on top. Yeah. I'm becoming one of them.

It's not a terrible thing really. I jumped to conclusions about those types of people in high school, the ones that were on the TV every morning, bright and shining while reading the announcements. The ones that were in the paper for outstanding acts of community service. I thought they were sickening, hiding behind something. Now I know the truth and I accept the truth about them[and I guess the truth about me now]it's satisfying.

Of course some of the people who are commitment-aholics(or committee-aholics)are really just out there to look good for the top man, but there are some out there doing it for the pure enjoyment. Through my new commitments I have met so many new and exciting people as well as used parts of the brain I didn't know I had. Ok, maybe I knew I had them, but I didn't think about using them until college came around.

So the moral of this entry is that the next time you see a person signing up for everything, don't be so quick to judge. It might be you that loses out[aka becomes a loser] in the end.

In other news: I have a Betta fish named Adolf. I have a huge crush on Kris the RA. I probably told him he's attractive. We hang out alot. This makes me boycrazy doesn't it? Pray for me. I have class in a half an hour. My English professor is a pain in the ass. She can't think for herself.
