fashion fun for the whole family...
Perhaps it's just me, but I think that three hours worth of picture taking is a little extreme.
My senior pictures were on Wednesday. Of course, me hating the camera the way I do[unless behind it]I didn't want to go. I was alright with having my picture taken in front of a nice brick wall and added to the yearbook later. But Sambo and Miss Linguist convinced me to go. Sambo agreed to sit in on a buddy picture with me[for no extra charge, hey hey] and Miss Linguist threatened to make me pay the ninety-five dollar sitting fee out of the bank if I didn't go. Well, there is all my digi cam money, so I had to go.
When we arrived, I noticed that the sign said "Photos by Matthew" under the name of the establishment. Miss Linguist had told me that my pictures would be taken by a woman named Wendy. Wendy does not sound like Matthew to me. Men taking my pictures made me even more nervous than before. I almost threw a hissy right in front of the studio. Sambo picked up all my outfits and charged inside without one glance backwards. Thank God for brave friends.
Matthew was very nice and made me feel at ease. Seeing as he was Miss Linguist's age, it was a little easier. When I came into the dressing room, they had cookies and crackers for me. In a little basket, they had placed two Snickers and a bottle of water. I was in heaven. On the little placard on the dressing room counter it said:"It's all about you Ahna". Which it was.
For the next three hours I changed outfits, posed different ways, went outside by a stream, went inside surrounded by rose petals[my favourite], posed along fire escapes and court house lattices. Everything he did was excellent. Six rolls of film later and three hours of work put in, we were finished. I cannot wait to see how they turn out. For the first time in my life, I enjoyed having my pictures taken. Weird for me to say outloud, but it's true.
In other news:School starts Tuesday. People are telling me I look like Courtney Cox.
This has been your fully poseable fashion doll diarist. I come with fifty rolls of film and a million outfits.
Quote of the day:"This is the first time I ever enjoyed having my picture taken so I'm going to enjoy it up."-[Moi]
