250 words of pure bull...
The weekend was a blast and now I am back in the comfort of my own coffee cup watching the Sunday yardwork begin. Mmm suburbia. How I love thee.
Rooming with Kelly wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it would be. True, she is about as anal retentive as one can get about her bedsheets, but once she gets the giggles, it is hard to stop her and shut her up. We had tons of fun mocking her as she was on the phone with her parents. We loved messing up her bed and wrinkling her sheets. I don't think I have ever laughed that much in my life. It's really sad that I am only getting to know her now, and not sooner in my high school career.
Yesterday, while sitting and doing nothing during the Pentathalon, I filled out two college applications. They both have to be in next week and I have to write three different essays apiece. This is not the way I want to spend my Sunday, writing meaningless words to try and get into a good school. Nonetheless, that is exactly what I find myself doing. So far, I have heard back from Carthage and St. Xavier, both very nice schools. Private, liberal arts, everything I wanted. Let's cross our fingers now and pray my essay writing does the trick. Since my grades in the past probably won't.
In other news:Sambo took sixth overall in the Pentathalon and received a sixth place ribbon for backstroke. She also has a homecoming date. Lucky girl.
This has been your essay writing fool of a diarist. Write about a waste of time in 250 words or less. Go.
Quote of the day:"He sounded so nervous when he was asking me, it was so cute."-[Sambo]
